If these had sound: reminiscent of the size and emotion of 33 LPs! crossed with a map! –you know how in Google maps you can move to another part of the map (pan) or zoom to show how roads and forests–and here–emotions–flow into one another. I am assuming that these three belong together?
(I also love the huge canvasses you use in many of these.)
Thank you, the larger canvases present different challenges and I enjoy working in sizes from 1″X1″ all the way up to the largest collaborative painting I completed: 6′X45′ which hangs in a circle that encloses the viewer. It was fun to watch the interaction in the gallery show between viewers and the work as they had to duck under to get into the circle. I love your interpretation of this triptych as I am particularly enamored with music and cartography!
